We need a mechanism that allows us to send messages to
buddies that are currently offline.
To make this feature applicable we could distribute a
(time-)stamped message to all known rdvs of our
peer-group. They are most likely to be up for a longer
time. If the buddie goes online again & a rdv gets to
know him, he will deliver the message to him.
The client has to check, whether he already received a
message with that id. If not, he will put it to the
messagebuffer. Otherwise he should discard it; exiting
silently.

the most likely solution imo would be to deploy an agent
that is always available to accept messages and allow peered
profiles to sync histories.
