Exploited the new possibilities of jdk1.5

Non-existing sequences will now be inserted properly.
By the previous removal of the synchronized keyword multiple threads could simultaneously insert the same sequence,
resulting in a duplicate key.
The code is currently being reviewed by two other developers!

Made the logger instance final.

Corrected a javadoc error.

Most, if not all,,of the changes involved removing warnings generated by Software Quality Tool.

Updated to ignore class files.

Now correctly checks whether the supplied sequence name is empty.

Added changes made to Database.java.

Added functionality to call a Stored Procedure.
