I can login, compose mail etc but when I receive mail I can't read it???? My inbox reads at the top "INBOX (2 new out of 2)". It is not listing the messages so that I may read them.
What might be the problem, what shuld i do??
I don't remember the exact layout of the 0.9.8 release (I'm running the Struts version in CVS), but are you sure that you've clicked into the INBOX?
Also, the count could be wrong. Are you sure, by some other mail client, that there are two messages in the INBOX?
Might you have another mail program running at the same time, which has downloaded the messages from the server, while Jwma is running?
It seems again a bad configuration of xml files. Finally what do you set in your rot folder?
Have you configured in configuration.xml file the type to be "mixed"? Maybe this is the problem..
I had the same problem with Courier IMAP. Not only was INBOX empty (when it wasn't), but so were all my subfolders.
Miriam is correct - Courier IMAP folders and subfolders must be defined as" mixed", meaning they each can contain both messages and subfolders. This is described in http://jwma.sourceforge.net/configuration/configuration.html.
Also, with Courier, you MUST define your root folder in configuration.xml and site-template.xml as "INBOX" (n.b. NO trailing dot). This is described at the bottom of http://jwma.sourceforge.net/deployment/imap.html.
