I'm using jwma version 0.98 and connected to Sun ONE Messaging Server 5.
Problem I'm facing now is how to display folders other than Inbox (i.e. Draft, Sent, new folders) for browsing the contents within these folders?
Any helps would be very much appreciated.
Well, most likely the root folder was not configured correctly.
If you dont know what root folder your server defaults to for a user, just leave it empty, and jwma will pick the default.
Yes. I leave the rootfolder as empty in both etc\configuration.xml and etc\site_template.xml files.
Additionally, I use "mixed" mode of postoffice in etc\configuration.xml file instead of "plain" mode in order to show the folders out.
<!--<postoffice name="Default PostOffice" default="true" type="plain" secure="false">-->
<postoffice name="Default PostOffice" default="true" type="mixed" secure="false">
Sounds weird. Probably the default folder is not correctly chosen....
The "mixed" and "plain" mode is nothing you can change at will. It has to match the IMAP server type.
Folders are available on both types, however, plain means that there can't exist any folders that contain messages and subfolders at the same time.
How does the same account look like in other IMAP clients?
