#89 turn off beep

Editing (36)

i'd like to be able to turn off the beep that happens when i hit escape unnecessarily.
i don't particularly care about a visual bell i'd just like to be able to stop the sound.

I also don't care about visual bell, I just want the sound to stop. Multiple ESC hits brings the editor to a known state without looking. This is especially useful to back out of multiple levels of context 'help'. (Autocomplete windows, reference, etc).

I'd like to whack at the esc key a couple times and not be driven crazy by unnecessary beeps.

If someone want's to do a patch for something like a quietbell/qb option, I'll answer questions and review it and it can get checked into the source for the next release.

There's some notes on adding an option: https://sourceforge.net/projects/jvi/forums/forum/10910/topic/1724696 , Since that was written, all the options were made accessible with the ":set" command; so the writeup is out of date.

Fixed in Mercurial. Two options, visualbell and visualbelltime. Much like vim. If vb true and vbt == 0 then no bell and no flash.

    Available next release.
