jUploadr "watches" a directory at a regular interval, comparing the current contents to a previous snapshot of filenames, dates, and sizes. When new files are found, they are automatically uploaded to the flickr account set up.
*A bonus features could be recognizing sub-folders as sets, but it's not necessary.

I concur. Today, I can only sync either manual or else by download-merging a folder and then re-uploading it.

Similar but nice: Detect and then ignore duplicates, i.e., files that have already been uploaded.
