As with bug ID: 2894074 jUploadr's "Upload" button has ceased to do anything for me recently (again, possibly associated with an upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10). I'm filing this a separate bug initially, though, since I don't see any error as described in the other report in the terminal. I'm using the distributed script to run jUploadr, and it's using the sun-java6 JVM, specifically:
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_16-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 14.2-b01, mixed mode)
I'm using the most recent CVS version ("New jUploadr version : 1.2 alpha") of jUploadr. Some very cursory investigation suggests that widgetSelected() in org.scohen.juploadr.upload.UploadManager isn't getting called at all. It would be great if you could look into this problem.
many thanks,
mark

I've got the same issue.
An other suggestion is that Ubuntu 9.10 uses IPv6 by default.
