I can't seem to download large files even with the maxFileSize set to 2G. The highest test I have completed successfully is about 400M.

Hi,

You must be unlucky. Plenty of people uploaded files of much more than 400M.

Did you check the maximum upload size of your server ?
Can you post the debut output of the applet, like stated on the doc ?
