Hi Tom,

We’ve picked JavaFX because we write applications in Java and want to use the new JavaFX UI framework ( the one that replaces Swing) from Oracle. It’s powerful and fun to use. Were you thinking about JavaFX 1, the sort of javascript-like language used to build UIs? JavaFX, in it’s current implementation starts with 2.x and as of Java 8 is part of the JDK.

As someone whose name is on lots of the jung source, what do you think about our desire to breath new life into jung?
