We're in need of someone to eval for a couple of days whether it's worth doing a port to JavaFX for some basic social media visualization tools. We understand that the visualization/GUI is decoupled from the underlying data/graph model, so we know it's do-able, we just haven't the time w/the small team we have now. We're sitting on the fence trying to decide to purchase yWorks vs. taking the plunge into a port to JavaFX. It'd be great if one of the original authors of Jung has the bandwidth for this. If we get some positive answers on the port, there would be a decent amount of contract-based work and probably other opportunities supporting a JavaFX-based Jung distro in the future.
