This was given to beth. Alex already respojnded to it,
so it might get fixed in the next revision:
At this point, I typed a "?" to see what
aboot options there were,
then chose option "0". The boot
continued and I chose "Express
Setup". This completed without errors
and told me to ">>>boot
dka300". I did this and the system came
up quite a ways then hung.
The final line before the hang was:
TCP: Hash tables configured (ehash 65536
bhash 65536)
I went back and was able to reproduce
this symptom consistently.
Note that this particular system runs
RedHat 6.2 without a problem
(installed without using Jumpstart).
Alex's response:
A kernel problem? Maybe express setup
incorrectly auto-detected
the chips EV and so installed the wrong
kernel. This may have already been fixed, I'll look
into it. On this machine, what does /proc/cpuinfo say
the CPU model is when
you cat it?

Does anyone know what systems use the Takara? Might this be
an EV4 problem?
