If you happen to be using more than one "space" on 10.5+, jumpcut will jump over to the previously-used space to display clipboards.
For those who work in 2+ spaces, if jumpcut were to be aware of the currently-viewed space (e.g. space #2), and pop-up it's bezel in that space, this would avoid a great deal of screen-swapping. It appears that jumpcut always pops up in Space #1.
