Hi, Big fan.
Jumpcut doesn't load on launch in Yosemite 10.10.2. Which makes it easy to lose data, expecting JumpCut will catch it.
I understand that you can add it in Users & Groups > login items, but this needs to be in the instructions or enabled by default.
Cheers,
P
I just noticed this has been the case since at least September 2011, so isn't unique to Yosemite. It would be great to even update wording so people know to do this.

I agree to your feature request, but you should change the title "Data Loss in Yosemite" IMHO. When I read it, I thought first there would be a sincere incompatibility problem with JumpCut and Yosemite. But in fact, I use it since some time without any problems in OS X 10.10.5 – and that's great for the age of JumpCut! I got already used to add it to the startup items ... I think it's not a big problem.
I hope there will be an update sometimes with other problems fixed (like blocking the screen with very large clips for example, posted bug #24) ...
This has been addressed in the long-delayed release of Jumpcut 0.70. (https://github.com/snark/jumpcut for anyone discovering this ticket via Google.)
