In Inkscape 0.48, copying an object to the clipboard should allow me to use the command "Paste Style" on some other object to apply the original object's style. If I've ever run Jumpcut in the current login session for OS X (10.6.8), Inkscape tells me "No style on the clipboard" when I try to paste style. (Similarly, trying to Paste Size tells me, "No size on the clipboard.") Oddly, though, pasting the actual object with a regular Paste command works fine.

The only remedy I have for this problem is to log in to OS X with Jumpcut disabled as a startup item. Running Jumpcut even once (even if I then quit it) will leave Inkscape confused about how to fully use the clipboard for the rest of the OS X session.

Fixed by going into X11 Preferences and turning off Pasteboard syncing (whatever that is). Everything behaves as expected now.
