#12 'Escape' doesn't dismiss bezel

I've got Jumpcut set to all its default settings, so I hit control-option-v to bring up the bezel, but when I hit 'escape' the bezel won't go away. I assume I'm supposed to hit 'escape' while still holding control-option, because if I release them, pasting happens. Which I don't want, because I want to hit 'escape' & abort the paste.

I've got Jumpcut 0.63 installed, and here's my /usr/bin/sw_vers:

ProductName: Mac OS X
ProductVersion: 10.6.2
