#6 Issues with initial installation
I was just about to write something like this when I found it... saves
me a bit of work (and fun)!
In order to get it to run on my system (RedHat Linux, kernel 2.4.18-
27.8.0smp, Tomcat 4.1, icecast 1.3.12, JDK 1.4.0), I had to make
some slight modifications.
- In web.xml, I had to add servlet-mapping elements for the JukeX,
JukeXAdmin, and Startup servlets in order for them to resolve
properly. Otherwise, index.jsp just showed a bunch of 404 errors.
- In the various JSP pages, some of the HREF's start with "JukeX" and
some of them don't. So, in all the JSP pages, I searched for "? and
replaced it with "JukeX?
That seems to solve most of my problems. I've also got an english
resource file that I'll submit a little later.
