This bug describes one instance when the player would
suddenly disappear from the user interface (because it
has crashed and hence becomes disconnected) and
then refuse to reconnect when the user tries to do so
manually: If you added new files into your music
directory and the server has found them and queued
them up for tagging, and you then moved or renamed
those files before the tag-writing background task got
the chance to process those files, the player would
report (in its log) that it couldn't find those files and
would have put them back in the queue. I'm not exactly
sure why the player crashes, but I have found out that if
there are non-existent files in the tag-writer queue when
the player connects to the server, it just hangs and
times out with an error message. If I then open the
database in Access and delete all the entries in the
TagWriterQueue table and reconnect, it works! So,
while I have not traced the exact cause of the crash
(which happens only in rare circumstances), if you have
trouble reconnecting the player then you may want to try
clearing your tag writing queue or possibly temporarily
turn off the tag-writing task before connecting (navigate
to: http://server:9292/admin\) and turn it back on after
you connect the player.
