Juice 2.2 has been working fine everyday.  Now when I try to start it, all I get is an error message telling me to look at the juice.exe.log .  When I look inside the log file I find this text repeated over and over:

    Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "gui.py", line 4, in ?
File "iPodderGui.pyc", line 3618, in main
File "ipodder\core.pyc", line 978, in __init__
File "ipodder\history.pyc", line 424, in __init__
File "ipodder\history.pyc", line 40, in __init__
File "ipodder\history.pyc", line 63, in open
File "bsddb\dbshelve.pyc", line 73, in open
    bsddb._db.DBFileExistsError: (17, 'File exists')

I tried an new installation of Juice in a different partition.  When I started it up I got the same error message refering me to the same log (but in the new installation folder).  Inside was the exact same message.

Can someone interpret this log file message and suggest what I need to do to get Juice to work again.

Also, I'm tempted to uninstall Juice and re-install, but I have many subscriptions listed and I'm worried I'd lose all of them if I uninstall.  Is there a way to save the subscription list (where is it?) so I can put it back into a new installation.

    Thanks for any help...

    John

I never got Juice to start - ever. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, redownloaded; but still no luck.

Any ideas? I've got Windows XP Professional SP2. Fairly ordinary configuration I think...

Realizing this is a rather old post.  But I'm wondering if you ever go this fixed?   I'm having the same issue now for about 6 months.

This is my log as of my latest uninstall and directory cleanup.

    Windows 7:

Problem was, that juice only run under one certain user, not with another one.
Solution: I got the files from
    C:\Users\<user_without_problems>\AppData\Roaming
and copied it to the directory
    C:\Users\<user_with_problems>\AppData\Roaming
