that's odd! do the plugins work on the example page?

if those work, then there's probably something to fix with your  
applet page. If those don't work, then there's some issue with your  
browser's java setup. Which browser are you using? Can you tell which  
java it's using? try going to this page:

http://www.javatester.org/version.html
