Hello aditsu, thanks for your reply. Yes, the one I gave was just an example. I am using jtidy-r938.jar. I am facing this with a complex HTML snippet ( I didnt want to paste the large snippet here ) -- this is just a demo.

Could you please tell me if the code I am using is correct for balancing/cleaning a random snippet of HTML? If so, I\'ll try to reproduce the problem with a simpler html snippet.
