I use:
WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION SP3
INTEL CORE 2 DUO CPU 6300 1,86GHz 1,88GHz
1GB RAM
I tested the programme and i found the followings bugs:
1. In the main interface the close button ( ) does not work. The same happens with the Alt + F4 shortcut button. So if you want to exit the programme the only way is via File -> Exit.
2. When i change skin to Gtk ( Tools -> Skin -> Gtk ) it shows me an error message saying "Skin changing failed".
3. When i convert a text to a pdf document there is not any question for the place i want to save the pdf. Asks only for a desirable name and save the pdf document in the install folder of the TextEditor++.
4. If i try to convert a text to a pdf document and named it with the same name as an existing pdf document, the programme without any warning it will replace the existing pdf document with the new.
5. While i have an opened text document, the programme allows me to open ( in a new tab ) and process the same text document again, without any warning that it is already open.
6. There is a big problem with the Find / Replace function. I have an opened text document and i want to search for the word "for" ( exists 4 times in the text ). I open find function, i write "for", i check forward and i click find button. The first, second, third and fourth time i click find button the programme does absolutely nothing. The fifth time it shows me an error message saying "for doesn't exist in this document". The exactly same thing happens if i check back instead of forward. Actually ti does nothing for an number of clicks, on the find button, equal to the number of times the word exists in the text document. Now if i open find function, then click somewhere inside the text and then write the word "for', check forward or back and click find button, everything works perfectly right.
7. Finally to use the replace function, first i have to click find button, to find and mark the word i want to replace and then click replace button, to replace the word. I have to do this for every time the word i want to replace exists in the text document. If i do not use find function first or if find function does not work correctly, if i click replace button it shows me an error message saying "You must select some text".
