After having installed WSJT-X-improved yesterday and having no issues with the upgrade, I decided to do the same thing with JTDX today. This time I have problems. My original JTDX installation was the jtdx-2.2.159-32A-win64.exe and it was working fine. I installed the jtdx-2.2.159-win64_improved.exe since that is the version which has been downloaded most by a wide margin. The improved version installed itself in a different directory than the original. When I try to use it, it opens and looks normal. It decodes signals and passes data to JTAlert. In the settings ->radio window. both TEST CAT and TEST PTT work correctly. But as soon as I try to transmit, the program crashes. I get a rig control error pop-up, and the details say close to "hamlib error trying to set split mode" (It disappears before I can write it down exactly.) In addition, the original version no longer starts although the jtdx.exe file is still present in the original location. Where do I go from here? Thanks! 73, John, K9MM |
