Dear jtdx_improved users, Currently, there are several DXpeditions, and I noticed that quite a number of OMs call the fox in the wrong time slot, and that almost all of them use JTDX (one even jtdx_improved). Upon further analysis, I found that JTDX allows you to easily switch between even/odd even in Hound mode. But this makes no sense at all, because there is the following convention: Hound: always Tx odd (15/45) Fox: always Tx even (00/30) Please make sure that you call the Fox in the right time slot, otherwise no QSO can be made with it! Those who listen to the Fox first and then click on its callsign (as it should be!) will of course be automatically set to the correct time slot. But there are obviously many who just call and call and call and then wonder why they don't hear anything. With WSJT-X and wsjtx_improved, this misbehavior is nearly impossible, because there, always the correct time slot is switched on as soon as one changes into the Hound mode. Therefore, I think about doing the same with jtdx_improved in the future. But until then, please take care of it yourself! 73 de DG2YCB, Uwe ________________________________________ German Amateur Radio Station DG2YCB Dr. Uwe Risse eMail: dg...@gm...
