Not sure which forum to post this on, but I have to start somewhere.
I am really looking for someone running the sunsdr2 DX trx, alongside Logger32, TCI, RadioSync and JTDX.
I open JTDX from the Bandmap within Logger32 by pressing “start”. I need “Radiosync” to bridge the gap between my radio and Logger32 as Logger does not support TCI (Transceiver Computer Interface). Radiosync creates a pseudo COM port for Logger.
Normally although a little convoluted, the system works perfectly and I have made many thousand QSOs on FT4/8.
However, from time to time, when operating FT4/8, acting upon the TX command my radio goes into transmit and the FT4/8 tones are clearly audible in the headset and the radio PTT activates. From time to time the FT4/8 tones cease although the PTT is in TX mode, no tones = no output. Can happen in the middle of a qso, or at the beginning or the end. Most of the time the system works perfectly.
Anybody using the same setup got any ideas? Sometimes I have to quit everything and reboot the PC, other times I stop my radio software Logger32 and re-boot other times I stop JTDX and re-boot. I am running under Windows 11 in an i9 PC with 32Gb RAM and 2TB SSD. All my software is the latest available. I have never had this happen when running MSHV using the same setup but not starting MSHV from within Logger. I dont use WSJT.
I dont usually crosspost but will also try the various other forums for the various products. For those not in the know TCI connects different things together if the software is TCI compatible, but when using Logger I need the bridge for audio and PTT.
