IC7300 Power On not working

Hi, it seems very quiet here, hopefully there is some activity.

I have JTDX running successfully, with one exception. The IC7300 does not power up on programme start (both the Rig Power buttons are ticked in settings). When I close the programme down the rig goes off as expected.

With the IC7300 powered on, when I select Test CAT, which is green, in the Radio section, the rig powered down and needs to be physically powered on. The Test CAT button turns grey after pushing it

I have tried using Win4IcomSuite and it is able to power up the rig when it starts.

Any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

tried this out and can indeed replicate the issue, if I go through HRD, HRD can ON/OFF the radio fine, HRD has the direct serial control in this case
