Hello,

This is most likely going to be a feature request. One of our customers complain about the performance on the Input component. We configured block size=512 which does helps, however they said that it's still not fast enough. On the ODBC driver they configured 8192.
Is there a reason why we can't do more than 8192? In the doc you mentioned that the database can at most do 16mb , could we go up to that limit?
Would that help with the performance?

My test AS400 database seems to have a hard cap of 1Mbit data transfer and I wasn't able to go beyond that, is that expected or there's also a server side parameter we should be looking at?

Regards,
Balázs

Customer applied the changes that we above mentioned and they are able to see 5mbit of transfer speed which is not terrible but I think we should be able to do more. If we use parallel threads like on the picture I'd expect the performance to be somewhere between 5 and 20mbit but it stays 5mbit constantly.

We are in the process of migrating to GitHub. If you have an account, please open an issue there, at https://github.com/IBM/JTOpen
