This is really a question of how people use the synth.  You'll need to
determine if it makes more sense *to a user of the synth* to manage the
K1's patches as two banks or as one.  This might mean the K1 code will be
different from the K4 code, but if it makes more sense for the synth, then
you should do it that way.
