Hi, I don't see anything stupid. ;-) Haven't heard of anybody working on Yamaha AN1X support so I think you can start without fear. ;-) Please then open a feature request and post your code there. If it is finished and working I can then add your code to the JSynthLib CVS so that it will be included in the next release.
