Yes. I can see the teminology being confusing .Its not refering to "Banks of Patches" but "Fader Banks" JSynthLib lets you use a controller surface, which is a midi device with lots of sliders on it, to control the editors on screen. For example, you would move fader (slider) 4 on your controller surface and the onscreen slider Bank 0 Slider 4 would move with you. Since you usually have more faders in an editor than on your controller surface, the faders are split into banks which can be changed using the arrows on the tool bar. It should probably say something like Fader Bank (n) Slider 3, and also should only be enabled if you enable fader's in the preference window.
