Sorry. I left the beginning junk (like the import statements, package 
statement, etc.) and an ending curly bracket. I figured people would be 
able to look at the code segment and tell what I was doing wrong.

Well, it seems to *find* it okay because my device and driver show up in 
the "New Patch..." dialog. I can create a new patch... it just doesn't 
edit it.
