[Jsynthlib-devel] Driver for Roland JV-80/880

Hi,

I'm writing a JSynthLib driver for the Roland JV-80/880 synthesizer. I
have attached an early version to its RFE in the JSynthLib page at its
sourceforge site, but I plan on announcing it more loudly when the GUI
code is done.

I have a few questions.

Will the JSynthLib CVS version support (my) Java 1.5 source code?

Is there any way to simplify writing the GUI code? Some patch editors
look like they were written by programs. (I hope I didn't insult
anyone :-)
