I also have been on this list for several years and have seen few  
traffic here. Anyway, JSynthLib is really a good piece of software,  
so I have decided to develop it  on my own. I have added several  
drivers as well as some modifications to the core. I was surprised to  
realize that  nobody here was interested in my changes. Finally,  
thanks to Bill Zwicky, they are in CVS, so I do not longer have to  
maintain my own version.
I am writing this to point out that the project suffers from bad  
luck. The are no active admins and developers. Being a frequent  
jsynthlib user I am ready to spend some time to contribute as well as  
prepare packages for OS X but it requires at least one active  
administrator who could spend some time to manage the project and  
answer emails. Is such a person here on this list? Perhaps it is a  
good time to put some live into the project.
