Which version of JSynthLib you are using?
I cannot reproduce the bug. I can editor TX81z patch created by
'creating new patch' function.
Note that the editor function is disabled, if Driver.editPatch is not
overridden. But this does not explain your problem.

Problem is that current JSynthLib creates a copy of Patch when it
creates a scene. If a user edit a scene, the patch in Library is not
updated. Library does not work as a library.
