Hi,
do you have the SysEx documentation of both the XV-5050
and the XV-5080?
I guess they differ a bit, at least the SysEx identification
string is different. That means the XV-5050 doesn't recognize
that it should respond.
E.g. the XV-5080 could be identified by=20
05 AA
and the XV-5050 by
05 AB
so you have to change the "05 AA" to "05 AB".
(That's just an example, the values are not correct!)
