The first beta release of the jSyncManager Core Application Set has now been released. This release is considered feature complete, and is ready for end-user testing.
New in this release is the ability to set the handheld user name, a new Swing-based dialog set for the Default jConduit, and a new JavaHelp-based help subsystem.
Additionally, the jSyncManager API beta 04 was released simultaneously.
The jSyncManager is a pure Java API set and application set designed to help individuals and organizations synchronize their PalmOS-based handheld devices using any Java-enabled system. The applications are completely portable, and offer both a GUI-based end-user application, and a console based "multiport server" designed to handle dozens of simultaneous synchronizations in a single process.
