JSXML Stability

The current version of JSXML was released June 20, 2001. There have been 289 downloads from SourceForge. I've also found myself using it for many quick applications other than the original web-based GUI I wrote it for. I haven't had to make any modifications to the 1.2 code, and have received more than a few emails presumably from some of those 289 downloads none of which bring to light any problems with 1.2. It was my intention to make the parser standards complient eventually, but since being standards complient would make the API take more code to use, and REXML excels on the client side where the file size of the script is important, I have opted to leave it as it is.
