jsXe 0.1.57 released!

jsXe is the Java Simple XML Editor. It uses java, jaxp, and the w3c DOM. It's aims are to create a simple but powerful and extensible interface for creating XML documents. jsXe currently only implements a tree view and a source view but will have support for adding views for many types of XML documents.

This version fixed some bugs and has some visual enhancements. You can now see that a document has been changed by seeing an icon in the open tab. The different xml node types are represented by different icons in the tree view.

Some enhancements were made to writing source output.

Some interface quirks were fixed like how the table of attributes handles adding new attributes.

Preliminary, simple drag and drop support has been added. You can drag nodes from one element into another in the tree view. You can also drag nodes into other text editors and it will drop the xml text for that node into that editor.

Anyway, lots of stuff has changed. I encourage you to check out the new version.
