Improved patch, also fixes missing assertions header. Without it there
are lots of errors about JSON_FAIL_MESSAGE and others being undefined.
Also, I'm manually specifying -DJSON_IS_AMALGAMATION as part of my
build, but it sounds like I'm not supposed to need to do that?
