[json-lib-user] Should static fields of a bean be included in its JSON representation?

Hi Andres, The following question might have an obvious answer, but I'd like to ask it anyway. Suppose I have this Java Bean: public class MyBean implements java.io.Serializable{ private Integer length; private static Integer staticLength; //getters and setters for both fields } and I use JSONObject.fromBean( new MyBean() ).toString() to get its JSON string representation, in which case I get {"length":0} Why is staticLength not included in the JSON string?
