#80 jsmoothgen.exe hangs at splash screen
jsmoothgen.exe will hang at the splash screen for a long time(several minutes) consuming high CPU. Even if you wait for it to actually launch, many operations are sluggish. Other people have reported possible issues with Java 1.6:

I haven't seen the exception mentioned there. The workaround there works, but I didn't see it logged so I thought I'd go ahead and do so.
You may want to check out these bugs: I think they could be related to this issue (if the reporter had large ZIP files on their Windows Desktop).
