#1 Opera 5, only per-session cookies

The cookie feature only works on a per-session basis
in Opera 5.11. Instead of storing the cookie it gets
destroyed between sessions. The code used for cookies
works in all Netscape and IE versions I've seen,
therefore it's odd that it doesn't work in Opera too.
What kind of change is needed to get O5 to
successfully store the cookie?
