Since the first official version of JSefa some new features have found their way into this new release. Among others are validation for all format types and line filters for CSV and FLR. See http://jsefa.sourceforge.net/changes-report.html for a list of all changes.
I wrote an introductory article on JSefa which is published in the current issue of the Javamagazin (10/2007, pp. 109-113, in german). A sequell will follow in the next issue (11/2007).
First official version is now available for download. It is in action in some companies for several months and has proven enough stability to justify version 0.9.
Since the availability of the source code at sourceforge in May of 2007 a lot of improvements have found their way into this release.
A short and quick tutorial helping in getting started with JSefa is now available via the project web site http://jsefa.sourceforge.net/
After a long test in production and further improvements I decided that the time has come to release the source code of JSefa to the public. It is now available via subversion (not via cvs). Have a look at the included samples to see some of the features of JSefa in action.
A tutorial is in work and will be released soon.
