[Jsdsi-users] Question about Delegation in JSDSI

Hi Sameer and everyone,

How to delegate a certificate in jsdsi? Is there a
class that supports certificate delegation or it’s the
developer who must handle this?

If it is the developer’s job, will it go like this:

Suppose that Bob sends Alice a certificate X with
delegation flag set to true. Alice then wants to
delegate it to Carol. I’ll check the delegation field
of Certificate X, if set to true then I will create a
new certificate Y with the same attributes as X except
for the principal, the subject and the delegation
field, where the principal will be Alice and the
subject will be Carol. And lastly the delegation field
will be set to true or false (as intended by Alice).

Is this right scenario for delegation?
