Jscheme does not appear to implement the R4 primitives
let-syntax and syntax-rules. These would a very useful
addition for those of us wishing to use JScheme for
doing mathematical programming - I've just been
looking at Mathematica, which is essentially a functional
language with a pattern matching and rewriting
engine for manipulating mathematical expressions. It
would be great if we could do that sort of thing in Scheme
and avoid Mathematica's rather irritating syntax (not
to mention price tag).
