I have noticed in ChannelSftp that when ls is
returning a Vectore of file names, if a link is also
among the files it is not in the form of(for example):
"myFile.link -> ../myFile.txt"
It is only in the form of "myFile.link" and does not
say where that link is pointing to. The only way you
can find out it is a link is by the first few
characters lrwxrwxrwx which indicates this file is a
link, but again no indication of where it links to.
When you use ls in Shell it shows also where it points
to, but ChannelSftp does not.
So my question is , is there a way to know where a
link is pointing to in ChannelSftp? Am I missing
The second question or problem I saw was that I have
an application that is using Sftp, and upon closing
the frame I also check for all sftp objects and
disconnect thetm, but some hanging threads are still
running somewhere because the application does not
exit. I use
sftp.disconnect() to disconnect. Shouldn't this
command close the connection and end the threads? Is
there something else I should do to force it to finish
running other than calling System.exit(0)?
