I have just upgraded from 0.0.13 to 0.1.1. The program I am trying to develope, which worked under 0.0.13, is to use a key file and open a connection to a specified server running openSSH. the code snippet is : try { // add the key file for auto-authentication System.out.println("Loading the key file..."); jsch.addIdentity(keyfile); System.out.println("key file loaded"); session = jsch.getSession(user, host, 22); UserInfo ui = new GetUserInfo(); // a dummy UserInfo module session.setUserInfo(ui); System.out.println("set the user info, trying to connect...."); session.connect(); System.out.println("Connected!"); . . . } catch (Exception le ) { le.printStackTrace(); } The diagnostics and stack trace are as follows: Loading the key file... key file loaded set the user info, trying to connect.... java.io.IOException: at com.jcraft.jsch.IO.getByte(Unknown Source) at com.jcraft.jsch.Session.read(Unknown Source) at com.jcraft.jsch.UserAuth.start(Unknown Source) at com.jcraft.jsch.UserAuthPassword.start(Unknown Source) at com.jcraft.jsch.Session.connect(Unknown Source) at net.oit.excite.tools.scp.ScpSend.doCopy(ScpSend.java:77) at net.oit.excite.tools.scp.ScpSend.<init>(ScpSend.java:49) at net.oit.excite.tools.scp.ScpSend.main(ScpSend.java:234) com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Session.connect: java.io.IOException: at com.jcraft.jsch.Session.connect(Unknown Source) at net.oit.excite.tools.scp.ScpSend.doCopy(ScpSend.java:77) at net.oit.excite.tools.scp.ScpSend.<init>(ScpSend.java:49) at net.oit.excite.tools.scp.ScpSend.main(ScpSend.java:234) ----------------------- ends ------------------ Regards Phil Jones |
