While investigating the P-51D engines, I realized that you could specify the engine file in a directory under the specific aircraft directory called "Engines" (such as "aircraft/Citation/Engines"). This was news to me, and it wasn't ever mentioned in the documentation or any other place I had seen. I always thought all engines had to be in the "Engines" directory. Makes me wonder what else is out there.

The same applies for scripts. They are allowed to be under the specific aircraft OR in the "Scripts" directory.

I am suggestiong the establishment of rules for when the scripts go in the Scripts or Engines directory, or when they are placed under the specific aircraft, and documentation in the Users manual. I suspect that the rule will be something like:

if the file in question (engine or script) can or is used by multiple aircraft without change, it is desired to have that file in the upper-level directory over the aircraft-specific directory, to avoid duplication of files. If the file is specific to that aircraft, it should be included in the aircraft-specific directory.
