#30 forces for structural integrity calculations?

hello,we would like to calculate the structural load on
rudder/ailerons/elevator as well as the gear, so that
we evaluate aircraft status after a flight.
So,we need the resulting forces for all control
surfaces as well as the landing gear, is this
information anywhere available in jsbsim?

    you cannot do this without the underlying data being present, AC in jsbsim & fg are however created in a more simplistic fashion, so that the corresponding data is simply not available

    You would need to model the hinge moments for aerosurfaces. That is a capability that has been explored (see the Spring 2006 JSBSim newsletter). It has not been formally added to the code, yet. Gear forces are modeled and can be logged, as you may know.
