Very Thanks Mr. Samokhodkin
JREGEX is the number 1 regex package in web.
I made a comparison:
JREGEX x Sun x IBM x Apache x GNU x SteveSoft's Pat and score was: points{0,5}
features: "6" x 3 x 2 x 1 x 1 x 1
speed: 4 x 5 x 1 x 2 x 3 x 2
support & maintenance: "6" x 1 x 1 x 1 x 0 x 0
trustable (check results against Perl 5.6): "6" x 2 x 2 x 4 x 1 x 1
documentation: "6" x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1
but really not surprised..u r genious!

Oh! I beg you pardon!
I'm working in an article about that comparison, in fact a simple comparison but example regular expression is very interesting! Using regular expression to parse complex numbers:
1) the simple re (weird)
2) the sophisticated re (just for JRegex and ibm's Regex)
3) the workaround re (to be used on rough packages)
Can I send you the "raw" material"? It's working fine!
Where to send?
Thanks Sergei!
P.S.: How to log in?
P.S.: A doubt of mine: Lookbehind/Lookahed assertion really reduces backtracking steps or just eases programmation?

Thanks a lot, dekassegui.
But, to be fair, i don't think jregex is SO good.. at least right now...
So, could you provide the actual data from your tests,
esp. concerning speed and trustability?
Cheers,
Sergey
