That sounds a neat idea. For each collected probe, the user could define a time slice and some warning thresolds. The display graph then would be divided in the provided slice and the background would be using different colors instead of white ?
Do you have some static example of the rendering ? It might be strange or difficult to read.

That could be easily done, we just need that jrds provides the adequat REST API.
